It’s spring time here in the UK. It’s a stupendous and productive time. The grasses are growing, the leaves sprouting on the trees, the flowers blossoming, the land turning from brown into a huge variety of colours. You can almost see it changing in front of you. The amount of energy apparent at this time is extraordinary.
It’s Sleep Week on BBC Radio 5 this week, and we thought we’d celebrate with a blog about sleep and performance. There’s been lots of science on sleep and the impact it has on a range of physical and mental performance parameters. But how, in reality, does sleep influence the performance of you, our readers and customers?
For many Christmas and New Year is a time for rest. Phew! Thank goodness for that. If you feel like you’re working harder than ever maybe you need one. And if you think 2017 is going to be harder again then you’d better get a plan in place for keeping it up.
