I’m writing this from Melbourne Airport, en route back home to the UK after a great couple of weeks working with some of our Australian customers. Airports make me reflect – they represent endings and beginnings, so it seems like the perfect time to put pen to paper.

Stuart was captain of Bath Rugby Club for 5 years and is now performance and player director at Bath where he supports staff in developing player skills. How I use goals
So, I've just finished the first of the 2017 Performance Festival sessions at the super nice Dorchester Hotel. Vibe wise, it’s very different from the Vaults where we held the 2016 Performance Fest and an important reminder that the environment is only part of what makes up a performance and you take advantage of whatever any environment gives you.

The tube drivers in London went on strike on Monday. Unless you’d lived in Outer Mongolia and were digitally cut off, this wouldn’t have escaped your attention. From the media and public outcry before the day, you’d have thought it was Armageddon. Turns out, it wasn't as bad as predicted. From a high performance perspective, there was a lot to be cheerful about. Here are 5 reasons why we loved the tube strike.
A Happy New High Performance Year!
We got some great feedback on our blog just before Christmas where we shared some of the output from our own K2 team meeting – you told us how useful it was to hear how we practice what we preach and apply some key high performance principles to our own team and business.
Can you keep it up?
For many Christmas and New Year is a time for rest. Phew! Thank goodness for that. If you feel like you’re working harder than ever maybe you need one. And if you think 2017 is going to be harder again then you’d better get a plan in place for keeping it up.
We had our end of year meeting this week. Everyone in the company getting together to have the chance to relfect on 2016, increase our sense of togetherness and get ready for how we want to PERFORM in 2017. Excellent!

Performing under Pressure – when it matters most

Danny has an impressive track record– he won Bronze in the 400m at the Sydney Paralympic Games in 2000, went one better to take Gold in the 800m in Athens, and ended his athletic career on a high note as GB flag bearer at the Beijing Games.
